The Arc’s Respite Services provide comfort and relief to families that care for an adult or child with a developmental disability. Respite Services are flexible, individualized, and designed to meet the needs of families in our community.
Respite Services are provided:
· In the community for a fun outing or event; or
· In The Arc’s Respite Center, located in Moline.
The Arc’s Respite Center
Located in Moline, The Respite Center provides care to both children and adults with developmental disabilities. A life-saver for busy families, the Respite Center offers an array of activities including games, crafts, activities, and special events for people with developmental disabilities. The Respite Center offers vacation services in the summer (June, July, and August).
Whether families need its services for after-school care, a weekend away, or to tend to a family emergency, the Respite Center and its staff are ready to provide quality care in a safe, fun environment.

This program is funded by United Way and the Illinois Department of Human Services.
