Programs > Employment Programs
The opportunity to work is something most people for granted. Work provides structure, purpose, opportunities for social interaction and support, and, most importantly, income. The Arc’s Employment Programs provide many levels of support to meet a variety of needs. Given the range of abilities, some individuals work in Arc Industries and receive side-by-side support from a staff person while others work in competitive employment (such as local restaurants, retail stores, and factories) and meet with their job coaches monthly or as needed.
Whether individuals work in a large workshop, a small enclave, or on their own in the community, The Arc ensures individuals have the support they need to achieve their highest potential in the workplace.
If you or someone you know would like to learn more about The Arc's work services programs and supports, please contact Sue Gadient, Admissions Chair, at (309) 764-4974.
