Work provides structure, purpose, opportunities for social interaction and support, and, most importantly, income. The Arc’s Employment Programs provide many levels of support to meet a variety of needs. Given the range of abilities, some individuals work in Arc Industries and receive side-by-side support from a staff person while others work in local restaurants and factories and meet with a job coach once per month. Whether individuals work in a large workshop, a small enclave, or on their own in the community, The Arc works to ensure that each person has the support they need to achieve their highest potential.
Arc Industries provides paid work opportunities while concentrating on good work habits & skills. Workers are trained in performing service contracts and assembling and packaging products quickly.
